She totally captures your attention, slightly unusual tone, very clean and pure, with a gamine face. Simon likes her vibe, Kara her package. She's my favorite person so far this season; I think she'll be in the final 12, she has a memorable look and sings well.
Casey has worked extremely hard over the many years I have known her to become what she is today. Does anyone out there know she was valedictorian of one of the most prominent high schools in Minnesota, or that everything (and I mean, EVERYTHING) on her/about her is real? Casey is a feminist, comes from a very "grounded" family, has been singing, studying and dancing all of her life, AND has the integrity and chutzpah every girl in America would die for.
